I've got a couple of these from my diving gear. Needless to say, they quickly found a place in the toy drawer.
They're absolutely invaluable for joining D-rings to the D-rings on cuffs, collars and straps. They're very strong and look the part. They're wide enough for a small two-centimetre strap to wrap around the centre without getting in the way of the releases (I enjoy getting creative).
It's essential to keep that bond of trust. They're very quick to detach should the safe word be used.
