The idea of a cock cage had been getting more and more appealing as the weeks ticked by and when this came up in the sale for a mere £4 it turned out it was illegal to ignore it (as defined in the Maastricht Treaty no less) so had to see if was the sort of toy I could have a long and loving relationship with.

Out of the packet it does look good, and initially made me chuckle and gulp in equal measures. I made the ludicrous mistake of trying to put it on with no lube to hand (I may have been at work at the time, but couldn't possibly confirm that) and soon decided that that was not the way forward, especially with the 1.5" rings, which I've found agree very well with in other toys after the initial struggles I tend to have when putting them on.

Once I had a chance to use some lube it went on pretty well and I was very very happy looking at the end result! Playing around with it for a while by myself was certainly a lot of fun. It was clear that the rings were not the highest quality however, as are not welded and also quite thin. Some of the rings had gaps of up to 2mm between the ends, which I did later find to catch and pinch a little, but at the time it did feel like part of the fun. After the event, not so much! I was able to close the rings better using a vice and pliers and am pretty happy now with the end result. We've generally used it for teasing and such, so not needing it to do all that much, just to frustrate!

The faux leather is reasonable, and very neat and easy enough to clean. Clearly it's not the highest quality, and the product is built to a price. Not the price I paid for it however, so am still happy it's very good value in my case.

I'm not sure I will be seen walking hand in hand into the sunset with it in many years to come, but I'll keep having fun with it for a while before probably upgrading to a really really good one.
